Lodges en Cumbria

“Great lodge right on the lakeshore with stunning views from the deck across the lake. Very peaceful setting. Perfect for touring the Lake Districk.”

“Beautiful, peaceful location. Really spacious sitting room, full sized, well equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms with excellent quality mattresses and pillows. Bedding and towels also excellent quality. Allocated parking right beside the front door.Bassenthwaite Lake is under a minutes walk away. The site is peaceful, the grounds are very well kept, extremely dog friendly. The lodge is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Would highly recommend.”

“Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended ”

“Very small accommodation for a family of three. Pics online do not adequately represent the ‘stables’ but mainly show the other units which are bigger. For the price we paid (£102.50 for the night) I would say it’s massively over priced. Total accommodation was probably half the size of an Ibis budget room but double the price. Beds were comfortable and location was good. Outside area could have been tidier and again not suitably represented in the pics . Also directly next to a busy railway...

“The lodge was superb, we couldn't fault anything and hope to return at some point.”
