“The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was a little bit old fashion but the room we stayed was in a section relatively new and clean. Overall the staff was polite and helpful except the lady we first met during the check-in. We asked for a quiet room as we have sent an request message via Expedia in advance but the lady said there was no any message received and all rooms were quite full already before check the computer. As we arrived before the check-in time we asked if we could……

“What a delightful place to stay for a short break in the Suffolk borders! Beautiful spacious rooms and first class restaurant food at dinner to complement the generous breakfast options. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised how good the value for money was and we belatedly realised this is part of the same group as another of our favourites, The Maltings in Weybourne.. We are already planning a return visit in the near future it was so……

“Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy.”

“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay. It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”

“Cosy well appointed cabin home located close enough to Ipswich and services but far enough away to be quiet, secluded and relaxing. Perfect for myself for the 2 week stay. Thanks! I hope to return.”
