“Excellent ”

“Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! Rooms were large with modern bathroom facilities including the best towels we have experienced in a while! Undoubtedly though, the highlights of the stay were the exceptional food and……

“The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed had a great view of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was elegant yet comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the tallow potato wedges and the steak. They cooked it well-done all the way through, as I had ordered. The surrounding grounds were beautiful and peaceful. ”

“Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and orderly. There are fans in the bathroom, which if you're travelled anywhere in the UK, you know that's a rarity. They even have an Inn kitty who is mischievous but adorable. ”

“Exceptional property! Heatherland looks like it came out of the pages of a storybook. Perfect location to explore Skye from! The cottage was super clean, roomy, very quiet, with views for miles and miles. We would strongly recommend Heatherland to anyone travelling to Skye.”
