“Place was downright dirty filthy and disgusting. there was a disgusting odor prominent throughout the entire property inside and out. Bed linens were dirty on both sides and had debris. Bugs visible. Ceilings were flaking in the room Tried to voice concerns the front desk they argued and acted like it was our fault for expecting the bare minimum Horrible customer service horrible staff. After 5 1/2 hour drive was looking for a nice place to rest and unwind, was there for less than two hours……

“Love that our Assigned room is at the end of the hallway. Spacious, Quiet and clean. Looks like the carpet is new. During breakfast I like how the wait staff was so attentive. ( Sorry I forgot her name, she has pink hair)”

“Newish hotel in good condition situated on a new development with restaurants nearby. Good hot breakfast and ample parking”

“Everything was very clean and the staff was helpful. He complimentary breakfast is much better than I thought it was and the amenities were nice. My only critique would be to upgrade the in room TVs because they are old Google models.”

“We love this place for the peaceful, quiet stay. Beautiful scenery, restaurant food was good, the menu is small, but everything was delicious. There's a paved path around the lake for a stroll, bird sounds and a close encounter with a deer!”

“Breakfast wasn't quite up to part with other HIE's I have stayed at and in general it could be a bit cleaner.”

“The handicap shower needs caulking. There was black mold around the base. No shelves if your in a wheelchair or very short... all shelves in shower were high. My socks were filthy after just 5 min on the carpet. Breakfast had no hot items at all. Very little to offer. Staff was really nice. Great price!”

“Beautiful scenic views and impressive renovations. The rooms are clean, spacious, and feature adjustable climate control, fresh air circulation, and a smoke‑free environment. The added room security is a nice touch. Staff members are attentive and courteous. Breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options in a large, well‑organized space. Parking is conveniently close to the building with plenty of room between spaces. This is a second stay at Hampton Inn, Covington, Va.”

“The deluxe continental breakfast was lacking! It was a "Grab and Go" breakfast when we got there. Not what we expected.”
