“Wall Eden Farm is a bit of a gem. It’s peaceful and uncomplicated, and the staff welcomed us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in us and making sure we had a good stay. We stayed as a family and felt at ease straight away.
There’s lots of nature and wildlife around if you take the time to notice it, which we really enjoyed. It’s the kind of place that encourages you to slow down and switch off for a while. The food in the restaurant was excellent too, which was a really nice bonus.

“My wife and I stayed just one night at the Kings Arms and had an excellent meal and breakfast. Our room was clean and tidy and the en-suite was fine, albeit a little cramped. We had ground floor room 5 and, as is our normal custom, went to bed just before 10:00pm. We then suffered a great deal of noise outside our bedroom windows; singing, shouting and swearing, all coming from the sheltered area just a few metres away. “The Crossways is an updated building. Regrettably there is no lift and a narrow staircase which makes taking heavy cases upstairs difficult. We had a problem with our room but what makes me give this hotel a 5 star rating was their service recovery was brilliant.
The team are very friendly and my Venison Pie for dinner was excellent. Top marks to our waiter who when an item was sold out apologised so well and convinced me to have the Venison pie.

“Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”
