“This cabin was almost exactly what I was looking for! While we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, it looked perfect with lots of wood. The kitchen was exactly what I hoped for and I was able to cook most of our meals during the stay. The only caution I would give is if you have more than 4 adults. You will need to pass through the third bedroom to get to the other two bedrooms and the bathroom. No big deal when you give that to the kids, but would have made an awkward trip if we had mor...

“Lovely property and beautifully decorated! The views were amazing and the outdoor amenities were perfect. We loved sitting outside by the firepit, kayaking around the bay and taking walks in the neighborhood. The house was immaculate with a nice open concept gathering area. The bedrooms are small with very little storage but our family of five managed. Wonderful place in a quiet location.”

“The remodel of this cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing are accurate and authentic. The location is fantastic! It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. You will absolutely love this charming cabin!”

“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“We chose this property because it is centrally located to many places to visit on “Day Trips”, all within an hours drive or less!!! We visited the “Fayette Historic Townsite”, “Gladstone Lighthouse”, “Peninsula Point Lighthouse” in Rapid River, and “Sandpoint Lighthouse” in Escanaba! We spent an afternoon at the “Island Resort & Casino” in Harris, Mi which is only 22 miles away and another day in Munising, Mi to go on a boat tour to see “Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore” which was breathtaking...

“We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket....
