"I enjoyed having a living room and bedroom..bed was comfy..I would have liked breakfast but coffee in lobby and full kitchen was good..whole foods is just across the street. We did find street parking a block north and it was safe..they have a local bear that comes every night And he is harmless"

"The added cost for amenities (pool,fitness ,wifi) i can see a charge for wifi but not the others. Parking was also expensive. But other wise the hotel was fine."

"Our room was in the back of the property. It was quiet with no road noise from the highway. We had the king size room with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. It was very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy. Free parking was a very nice touch for that area. The property was a 10 minute walk to a beach area, 15 minute walk to some trails up in the trees and only a few minutes from the stateline. I have no complaints. Was worth our price."

"The mini king suite was like a little one bedroom apt. Had a gas stone fireplace and a very large patio, too. Like others have commented, could use some refurbishing, but was clean and comfortable for our two-night stay. Worked out very well for the two of us and our small dog."

"This is an older hotel but it is right on the beach so great access and views. Definitely get a room with the balcony or patio facing the beach. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there at 4:15, we only booked about a half hour before, so we got upgraded to a corner room with a balcony and windows on 2 sides facing the beach. It also had a small kitchen in the upgraded room. The room was clean and the beds softer than most hotels but comfortable. There was a gas stove in the room for heat which we used as the nights get chilly in Sept. The bath with the shower and toilet are small and not updated but like I said this is an older hotel. Everything was clean though and you couldn’t beat the view. I would stay there again."
