“I didn't know what to expect when booking (got a great deal through expedia) it also came up as a 2star (which personally I never go for) but it looked fine (better than dated / tired alternatives in the area) so thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. Nice, clean, spacious grounds with plenty of parking directly outside the rooms. The lady on check-in / bar area was super friendly, welcoming and had everything in order. “Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. ”
