“We stayed here for 4 weeks over Christmas whilst we were waiting to move into our new place. Paul and Julie were the perfect hosts, leaving us a lovely Christmas hamper and presents and decorations. The place is perfect for two and has everything you need, it is tastefully decorated and spotless. Wonderful shower! Very warm and cosy, we were sad to leave!”

“A wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. ”

“Had a lovely one night stay in the beautifully decorated and accessorised accommodation. Bed very comfortable, every comfort you could wish for provided. Peaceful, provided breakfast in patio garden when we saw a deer slowly walk through front garden. What a treat! Recommended!”

“A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. “We had a great stay and enjoyed both the quality of the cottage and the excellent amenities. The host was attentive but not obtrusive and keen to make sure we had a nice time. Our 14 and 16 year olds really liked the hot tub and the large TV in each of the rooms, there are great views from the tub and cottage.The local Tesco is well stocked and only a 5 min drive away (walkable in 10-15 mins). The local high street also has a great selection of shops from a butchers, bakery, charity shops and……

“Our first stay in a shepherd's hut and it was absolutely brilliant everything we could ask for and more. The hosts were very helpful and friendly too. Lots of walks and fishing to be done in the area. Would definitely go again.”
