"Price was reasonable compared to others nearby. Motel was undergoing complete room renovations to upgrade from the old. We stayed in a renovated room. Since this is an older building, the rooms are actually larger. The room layout we had was nice, functional, and nice size. The room was very quiet. A/C, TV, and hot shower water were good. But the older set-in bathtub was small and the shower faucet control was in need of adjustment or repair. Overall; the room suited our needs adequately."

"At one point they had charged my card for $587 even though my 2 night stay only came to a little over $200. I brought this up to the front desk staff (David) and he was pretty short and impatient with me. I understand the need to charge for incidentals etc but it’s been a week and I still haven’t been fully reimbursed and that’s been frustrating. Other than that the room was nice and I enjoyed my stay. "

"The hotel and casino were beautiful, and the staff was so friendly. The only items we wish were different included having a small refrigerator in the room for personal goods (the fridge was stocked with chargeable items), and possibly day care for the youngsters."

"Everything was great, staff was friendly, beautiful hotel that gives you a blast from the past! We ended up in a suite with gorgeous mountain views and even a fireplace...nice touch. We ate dinner on the patio and the food was decent. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the quaint little town of Manitou Springs."
