“There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. ”

“Late booking due to funeral at short notice and price was good especially as breakfast was included. Owner was exceptional, extremely polite & helpful. “The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. The food at the Cairns restaurant for dinner was nice but the service was a bit disjointed. There was a lot of staff but still took a while……

It is a very organic place to stay so be prepared for natural amenities and fresh homemade food. Breakfast was excellent and we were able to choose our dining time and options.
