My room was comfortable and I had a couple of issues which were rectified as soon as they were made known to the staff. The food was good and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. "I read a Lot of reviews before choosing to stay here and I'm so glad I ignored the bad ones. I loved this hotel. My room was huge but basic. It reminded me of the kind of old properties Youth Hostels often occupy. Comfy bed, nice white sheets. This was the cheapest in the area so I dont think the bad reviews are fair. Pay more and stay somewhere else. Normally I MUST have a TV in my room but I really didnt mind that there wasnt one. Look into the history of the building to understand the reasons why it had anvair of Fawlty towts meets the Shining. Phone in advance to advise an eta so when you do arrive (90 minutes later than you thi"

"The ladies on reception were so lovely. Friendly and very helpful advising on gpod eating places and places to visit. The bedroom was clean with very comfortable bed. Sadly the hotel is in need of tlc it showed the signs of great potential and could offer a wonderful eating and drinking venue if developed. The price was very reasonable given the standard of the amenities and a place to certainly use if only needing a base"
