“We stayed for one night, also having dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, the dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and delicious. It was great to see the bar /restaurant buzzing with locals and others staying there. Staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay and located well for exploring. ”

“The dolphin hotel - great value for money and excellent location with a 2 minute walk to the beach ! I came here with my partner and 2 dogs and we had a wonderful time the bar and restaurant has been refurbished and has a great atmosphere I was initially worried about he negative reviews but we found out it is now under new management, the staff were amazing and very welcoming and couldn't do more for you the rooms were basic but clean great selection of teas coffees biscuits ect replenished……

“Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Superb views across to the hills behind the village. Very nice toiletries provided and excellent tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room facilities with biscuits! I really enjoyed the comfortable residents lounge which was unexpected but a nice place to relax and read a book (motor racing or vehicle enthusiasts will enjoy the book selection). The breakfast was very high quality with local Ingredients and beautifully presented. Gluten……

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. Thank you ”

“The hotel is on the beach and a close walk to centre of town and very close to the marina. The room was clean and bright. Staff are very helpful, welcoming and professional. ”

“Had a lovely stay at the Ammonite guest house. The hosts were very attentive. The parking was either just outside or a space for a car around the back. Warning, it's a very small lane, wing mirrors in! 😂. The breakfast was very filling. Lots to choose from. Would definitely book again. ”
