The hosts were amazing, and very accommodating to our schedule needs. The rooms provided the perfect blend of historic atmosphere and modern convenience, and Matthew gave us a real feeling of the history of the place with his vast knowledge of the inn and its famous visitors. A perfect base from which to enjoy the beautiful and historic surrounding area.

First the staff are so nice and friendly. Very welcoming. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was amazing with plenty of hot water. Quiet, no road noise or traffic. Beautiful scenery. Will definitely stay there again.

Super friendly staff, really big nice room. Clean, but found an old bag of rotten Funyuns in the closet as we did a check out sweep. So that’s my only real complaint. We’d stay again!

You don't even need to buy a ticket to the game (although we did), no matter where your room is, though, because there is a patio deck with food and drink service overlooking left field. On a Foliage tour through New England in October, my wife and I stayed at The Monadnock Inn following a hike of the nearby Mt. Monadnock. Arrival mid-week was simple and the Inn is full of centuries-old charm and comfort. Check-in was very simple and we were handed a key and walked up the stairs to the 3rd Floor Pauline Room. The room was very cozy with an antique soak tub and shower (great after a long hike), beautiful bay windows, steam radiator, comfortable bed, and warmly lit. There was no...
