“New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly……

“I asked if there was an iron as I needed to press my dress as I was attending. I was told there was an iron. Unfortunately by using the iron the sockets fused and I was unable to charge my hearing aids! The second night I put my aids on to charge, however when I tried to iron my top, the sockets had fused again! There is obviously a problem with the electrics in this room! I was able to use another room on my first day to charge my aids but it was very srtressful.”

“The room was very clean, small, but well appointed. We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. There was great water pressure and a lovely clean bathroom which was separated from the sleeping area by a heavy tapestry curtain. We had just arrived that afternoon from an……

“Natalie was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing excellent recommendations and local information. Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed……

“It does exactly what it says on the tin. I always stay here during Henley royal regatta. It’s not cheap and this time the room was a bit small, but generally it’s all good. Staff were super nice. For me, a bonus is having Waitrose and another supermarket just a few minutes away. Means I don’t have to buy hotel food.”
