“The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!”

“Comfortable place. Two beds in the room, that was unexpected. Nice.
Staff need to be more attentive when . Serving and at the bar. But free breakfast was very good. Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses.”

“A must stay in Costa Rica! One of the most tranquil, romantic, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed! The personal and small touches made all the difference!
This is a boutique hotel where the staff all truly care for guests and one another. Valery, Fiorella, Issabella, and all the ESH staff were so lovely and welcoming. Danny, Francisco, Froylan, and all the staff at Almar were amazing, and the food and cocktails were terrific!

“The ocean views were amazing! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. We had a small issue with our room (no fault of the hotel) and the manager quickly offered us an upgrade to a beautiful suite.
There is access via a walking path to two separate beaches, and many dining options nearby (Guiones is a short 15 minute walk down the beach for more options). Overall a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean, the sun, and the spectacular……

“Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. “Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach.
Private pool was very nice and overall good stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! ”
