"Awesome and quiet place tucked away in a small town but near anything you would possibly need. I wanted a quiet place to train and relax and this place was perfect. Spending the day doin tennis drills, rinsing off, and then hopping in a pool was about as good as it gets. I got to chat and walk around with the owner who is a fantastic guy and it was cool to learn about the history of the property. This is an awesome spot and I intend to come back in the fall for some more training and relaxing."

"Lovely place to have a cabin. Peaceful surroundings and close to Okefenokee swamp. The boating trip through the swamp was mesmerizing."

"Our weekend getaway was great in this beautiful cabin on a rural property. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. There were games as well as a record player with a good selection of vinyls to listen too. It was so peaceful and restful. We saw deer, boars, and an owl on the property. We walked on their boardwalk down to the river which was so peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the fire pit at night. We thought about kayaking the next day (which they offer) but went to Jekyll island and stayed the day there instead. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The only issue we had was the dirt roads driving in/out (approx. 2 miles to cabin) in a 2-wheel sedan. My husband said it was like driving on a snowy highway, especially during the rain. However, next time we visit, we’ll be in vehicle with 4-wheel drive. But we definitely highly recommend this cabin/property."

Railroad Retreat by the Lake

"We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The cottage was clean and stocked with all the kitchen and bath stuff we could possibly need. The cottage decor is very homey and comfortable as can be. The grounds are gorgeous. The lake and dock are the highlight of the property and they also have turkeys, ducks, chickens and rabbits. We're nature lovers and felt right at home. We did not hardly see the Raulersons and we had our privacy to the degree that we never even met them, although I would have liked to. If we are in the area again we plan to return. Thank you, Raulersons, for everything."

"Had a great time with lots of family if you have a large family or trying to visit a large family, this is the perfect spot for you. It’s huge yard. Very quiet neighborhood huge back door patio plenty of sitting. I will definitely be renting again and don’t forget to host was wonderful I loved every bit of it. I wish it was my own house and my family really loved it. Thank you very much."

"This beautifully decorated, spacious home had everything you could possibly want or need including fresh eggs from the chickens who live right next door. Glenda was a great host who had lots of cold water waiting in the fridge which was most welcome after a long drive from north Georgia. Thanks Glenda"
