“Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!”

“Sheets were very thin as to where you could see through them. Very dusty in the room. The light fixture over the bathroom sink was missing a lightbulb. Stains in the carpet. I reserved a king bed and got 2 queens instead. ”

The owners are awesome and very knowledgable about the area, even gave us tips of things to do during our stay. “I recently stayed at the Bullock Hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of history, which is one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. If you love historic places with character, this is definitely the place for you. The atmosphere really makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, and the stories about it being haunted add to the experience. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and it was excellent, especially for the price. You……

“The bed was comfy but bathroom area was not adequate. No shower and toilet in a room smaller than a portable outhouse. ”

“Parking was not easy. Property did not list no pickup truck and trailer parking. We had to park down the street in the visitor center lot. Not very convenient when we came in the night of a snow storm. The gal checking us in seemed frazzled, she must have been alone, didn't explain anything to me about how to get to our room, pool, ice machines nor any information about breakfast. ”
