The rooms were very clean. It would've been a perfect trip \*HOWEVER, we arrived to our room around 1AM because our flight was delayed, only to find out we never received the email for the door code. It says to call the number provided for help, nobody answered. We were locked out of our room for 2-3 hours in 30° temps. We even walked over to another hotel but they were full. Luckily another guest came out to help us. He said his code is his phone number so we tried ours and it worked! We did not receive a call back from the property until noon the next day! They confirmed the email with our door code did not go through and all they offered was "sorry". To me, that's not acceptable for what we went through. We asked for the manager and they said "he's not available" I still haven't heard back from anyone. \*If there's a problem after hours or you arrive after hours there's nobody to help you! The room was very spacious and nice, and was spotless when we arrived. The parking was very conveniently located on property and the location to the beach was perfect, it's literally across the small road across from the property. The dishes, glasses and toiletries provided were sufficient and we definitely plan on staying again. I've noticed some complaints in some reviews about the contactless check in process being tedious and I assure you it's not. They are in communication with you the whole time and as long as you follow the very simple instructions there are absolutely zero issues, and if you need anything at all there is a text number you can reach out to and they are very very responsive. We had a great time staying at Los Bungalows and will be our go to spot to stay in the future any time we visit San Diego. Plenty of things to do and see within walking distance. We drove and they have free parking right there which is nice. It is a contactless property and it was very easy to communicate with them. They respond very quickly and are incredibly nice. They checked in via text a few times to ensure we had everything we needed.
