“Room was spotless ,building is well maintained though it is a very old building . They have off street parking ,neighborhood is safe and in the mornings they have in house breakfast .”

“The host was very responsive when I had questions. He was extremely accommodating, he gave us a little extra time given the snowfall etc, and he had the stairs shoveled for us in the morning. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was a very nice place, warming and charming. We'd definitely stay there again. Thank you! ”

“The owner was very nice, The unit was clean. The only issue we had was getting our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Very small steep steps and circular, We are all in our 70's so unless you are in good shape, it may be difficult to get up and down the stairs, One of the ladies was having trouble with her Achilles tendon and struggled,”

“Location was perfect and the apt. Was very clean and was great for myself, my daughter, and her 3 kids. We did have numerous power outages which came back on immediately. Hot water was in short supply in mornings for showers. However, these few inconveniences were of little concern. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a beautiful town!”

“This property was a good value. We were in town for a high school graduation so we weren't at the unit very often. The sofa in our unit was old and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was very small. The stairs walking up to the units and our particular unit are very steep. The property manager was very easy to get ahold of and helpful. Overall it is a good value.”

“Apartment is large and spacious. It is perfect for our family of five. It had great parking and you could walk around the quiet town. Location allowed train access to Boston and Salem. It was a quick drive to the shore. We had some trouble with the above neighbor causing damage to the property, but the owner was honest and respectful to refund us money when our travel insurance would not cover it. I only give 4 stars as the dishwasher was broken and I hate doing dishes on vacation. Also,……

“The house was perfectly located to enjoy a wedding close by for my family of 10. My grandsons loved the acreage and snow—and did some sledding! Because of all the snow and ice, the front walkway was challenging but the host quickly rectified the situation with salt pellets! The 2 living areas were perfect to enjoy some family time and my husband loved the book collection! Would love to return in the summer to enjoy kayaks on the river!”
