“The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. ”

“Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. ”

“The parking was good, well lit and off road. The place was clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good and hearty. There was no aircon but a good fan. The room was warm as it was cold outside. And it was value for money.”

“This beautiful pub adjacent to the River Ouse allows for the weary traveller to sit back, relax or else take a quiet walk along the ambling lanes close by: to soak up the sounds of the birdsong which is prolific to the ear, as they make their homes amongst the well known Fens. The hotel aspect to this popular family-oriented pub is one of generous hospitality. The offer from staff to settle you in with your suitcases and bags was a very welcoming and kind gesture.
