“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”

“Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.”

“Very old property with no renewal in sight. My small tv in room didn’t have a remote control so had to rely on my iPad, had a portable electric heater in room with no certification label attached, everything looked worn out. Breakfast is basic. Only book as a last resort. The manual wooden key holder could barely fit in my pocket.”

“It’s a B&B style hotel in Lake District. It’s best for driving but there’s bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly. The room is clean and tidy. There’s no telecom network coverage. The room is also covered by WiFi though it was more stable near the door. We also had dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed the evening with descent food. The breakfast was complimentary and it’s at very high quality,”
