"Serene location, beautiful place"

"This was our second time at the Cliff House and we had a wonderful time. We love this property because we can just unwind at the house or take multiple walks on the beach throughout the day. Our dogs love the property as well. The house has all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need for any cooking you want to do. We will definitely be back to the property. "

"This was the perfect place to stay when we attended a reunion at Cazadero Music Camp across the road. The home contained everything we would need, plus more. The setting was quiet and loved being able to sit and watch the creek flow by. Next time we will definitely stay longer."

"What a great place in a beautiful area. We loved the yard with all the wildlife, the walk to town (Gold Coast Cafe), the Islands in the Sky trail, and of course the Russian River. The hosts were helpful with recommendations and quick to reply to any needs/questions. It was such a perfect place to escape the hustle of daily life. We can’t wait to return. Thank you!"

"This was our 5th year staying at Aftermath. We love our yearly tradition here. Saw so many whales! Took a day fishing trip with Sonoma Coast Adventures, highly recommend them. Taking home tons of fish. A nice tip for fellow visitors is we load all our beach stuff and drive one minute down the highway to the state park campground at Wrights Beach. The bathrooms are close and you can spend all day in the sand. We are always sad to leave the coast and Aftermath but we’ll see you next year! "

"My concern always is, “Is this place really going to be as nice as they made it look?” Answer in this case, a resounding yes! We had a group of 9 — 6 adults and three children ages 5-8. Plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots and pans. Beautiful decks and spectacular views from the living spaces. Ocean to the right, river in front and to the left. Lots of beaches within a short drive. Cool and scenic places all around. Highly recommend. You get what you see!"

"Large, private riverfront property that has it all. Sweet location minutes from supplies in Monte Rio and minutes to the ocean. House has plenty of water crafts and toys to choose from with life jackets and such. We did a little canoe trip after swamping it on our beach before we took off (it's been awhile lol), we visited the redwoods, and some beaches near Jenner. Lots of stuff to do in the area and at the house including catching fish from the private beach - we caught a few every night. We loved the fireplace down by the beach and everyone slept well with the cool night fog. On the last day we wanted to extend but looked like it was booked. Next time we'll stay longer and bring more people as this house seems like it could handle 8-10 pretty easily. Cheers!"

"We stayed here in 2016 and had memories of a very special place. Would this trip live up to our memories, we wondered? Oh yes! Peace and tranquility in the most blissful setting by the creek. Surrounded by redwoods but with a lovely sunny backyard. The interior is perfect, thoughtfully set-up to handle our every need. Add in many little details, including lots of local artwork and you have an idyllic setting."

"Great escape for a few days! Front gate was broken, so we had to improvise a bit to give our dogs the promised space to roam. Other than that, we had a great time and had everything we needed! "

"This was a great property to enable everyone to do what they needed. Lots of space to relax in the home or garden, River access with boats, and not far to restaurants. Only minor complaint was that the hot tub could have been a little cleaner"

"Tidesong was a fantastic house. The views were incredible. The location at Goat Rock Beach, inside Sonoma Coast State Park is amazing. Every morning we walked down and along the beach, always seeing the harbor seals and seeing a bald eagle two different times. The house was clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The gas grill worked really well. The living space was inviting.We were very lucky with the weather. It was clear and sunny every day, including three out of four mornings. The wind came on pretty strongly late two afternoons, but not the others. The house was warm and comfortable the whole time.Vacasa manages the property, and that worked really well. This is absolutely a house we will include as a regular spot for a long weekend get-aways. "

"We had a great stay! The cottage was cozy and clean, check in process was simple and easy. Nice quiet spot on the creek. We were lucky to come in on a Friday when the bakery makes pizzas and has live music. Breakfast of fresh baked bread and pastries brought to our front door was absolutely delicious. "

"This was the perfect set up for a trip with two small families. Temps were nice and cool in the June heat with the shade. Location is tucked Seat in nature with just 15 min drive east/west to get to Guernville/Jenner. Perfect family vacation. "

"Beautiful location on Austin creek. After our morning coffee, we would hike down along the creek with our pup (two-year-old Golden Retriever). One fay, we drove to Guerneville to meet some relatives and friends for lunch; and another day, we drove to Bodega Bay and picked up the world’s Best Crab Sandwiches and Clam Chowder (from Spud Point). Falling asleep with the sound of crickets, and waking up to birdsong… Absolutely the bes."

"Mark is such a welcoming and warm host with fresh baked goods delivered. The cabin was perfect. As two friends who met in college in 1976, we especially appreciated the turntable with vintage vinyl. Pizza night on Friday was also fun. Easy to get good breakfast burritos up the road a bit at Cazadero General Store. "

"It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!"
