“Will stay there again”

“Could not even check. My money was totally wasted. Made the reservation after 10 and didn't read the fine print that I would need to make arrangements with the hotel before 9 to get keys! Why did Expedia and the hotel take my money when I drove all that way and wasted that money for nothing! Extremely frustrating experience. Guess you always have to read the fine print. Corporate America is all too happy to steal your hard-earned money!”

“The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. If you are planning a weekday stay, just keep in mind that the only things open are a little market and a breakfast café that closes at 3:00 PM. All of the other little restaurants nearby are only open Friday, Saturday,……

“I’m comfortable of staying this hotel. The sea view from window is beautiful.”

“The TV was entirely in German. And there was no way to change the settings to English. I spent 30 minutes trying to change it.”

“Super noisy bathroom exhaust and heating fan in the room. Bed is too high. Lack of basic supply such as tooth brush. No place to sit for breakfast. ”

“The inn was very lovely with nice surroundings and clean rooms. It was bit odd to have a chair place adjacent to the gas fireplace but since it was so warm out the fireplace was not used. The bed was comfy, the ground pretty and the location very quiet.”

“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“I really thought their lack of flexibility was really poor. I tried to change my reservation with 72 hours notice with no luck. This lack of flexibility will have me look elsewhere on my return visits.”

“We had a great time in the cabin. It was well stocked, had a nice layout, and was bigger than expected. The bunk bed are creatively placed and reminiscent of a cubby hole. The property is undergoing upgrades to the public restrooms so it will be even better soon. ”
