“Everything was as good as described. We enjoyed the stay. Very exclusive. Large decks. Used the outdoor grill several times.Went to the fireworks show on the mountain. Only 5 minutes away.No complaints. Would recommend this place to anyone.”

“Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said……

“The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs……

“House was great and the location was great. We came up for JMUs family weekend so we were 25 minutes from everything in Harrisonburg and the Massanutten resort offers so many attractions! Great amount of space in the house for our party as well!”

“It was great and we appreciate you!!!!”

“Our family vacation was wonderful at the Fireside Lodge. The room setup worked perfectly for our family with the children on the lower level and the adults on the top level. We loved the decorating scheme and the awesome light fixtures. The dining room’s custom made table was beautiful and so roomy and we spent lots of time there talking, eating, and playing game. The location was perfect away from the traffic yet close to everything. We hope to stay there again when we travel to Massanutten.……

“We held a three generation family vacation in this house and enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very attentive and responsive. The young kids had a blast taking advantage of the house amenities with the movie theatre, popcorn machines, arcade and table games, and the hot tub. There were some slight issues with cleanliness in which the hosts gave us a heads up in advance once they learned about it. They were also very responsive to a few wear and tear items. The location of the home is perfect……

“This cottage was a great place to have a quiet retreat. Close drive to both smaller and larger area towns. Beautiful country road drives and close to the interstate if desired. All immenties I required for cooking were onsite. Ferne was a great host. Showed us around and answered questions upon arrival. She has created a large binder that provides all kinds of information about the surrounding areas. Front porch views from the swing were relaxing. Would definitely recommend if you want to get……
