"My husband, son and daughter-in-law stayed in this delightful apartment in mid-May. We loved Varenna and the location of the apartment, so close to shops/cafes and sights. The Apartment was HUGE in every respect. Beds/bedding great. Very clean. The host was very generous to provide coffee, bottled waters, juice, a few groceries and snacks. "We have just had the most amazing 4 days at this beautiful villa. It was absolutely spotless, the facilities were first class and the views from the garden were stunning! Lake Garda is just beautiful and this property is perfectly located to access all towns around the lake. We drove 30 minutes to limone sul Garda which is stunning and from there took a boat across the lake to Malcesine which was just 9 euros! We will definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to book villa Belvedere again."

From here we caught ferries around the lake to various villages and gardens, they were beautiful. "We had a great time at the Villa, which is absolutely amazing. We were a small group with a child and two dogs and we felt very welcome. The villa offers so much room, the bathrooms are wonderful and the garden is just lovely. Two fridges and a huge TV in the living room, and WiFi on each floor - we were very impressed. "Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!"

"This on a very steep hill next to a restaurant. The little village is very cute and you feel part of the community. It is fun to walk around the paths between the homes and explore. Everything is on a hill so be prepared to walk an incline coming or going. As for the home, the grounds are beautiful and the view is absolutely breathtaking. "On the positive side Villa Paola has a wonderful view of Lake Como and is very private. Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with the house and the local management company to recommend it. When we arrived, the lawn was very overgrown, the outdoor furniture was a mess and there was no umbrella as pictured on the website.
