“My room was inviting and spotless. The decor was charming and illustrative of the antebellum historic period, but it was also very comfortable and met all of my needs. The manager and staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One young staff member showed me around a bit after I voiced my appreciation for the care given to restoring the mansion--now guest house. Every corner has something of interest--but the two that stand out are the grandfather clock and the telephone closet. Art lined……

“We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV.
