"Good solid hotel room for those planning a kayak weekend trip with Shenandoah River Outfitters. Showers had good pressure, which helps after a long day on the river. Internet was solid. For us, the AC wasn't working, but we decided to endure it as we didn't want to repack everything after we had set up already in the room. Beds were comfortable, too. Solid place to put your head down."

The food at the restaurant on site was delicious and all staff were friendly and competent. I'll return for sure!"

The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Plus, the location is ideal—just a short drive to all the amenities and attractions in town. "Location to Skyline Drive entrance excellent. Friendly staff. Surprisingly roomy. Excellent shower. Plenty of towels. Updated but kept charm. Parked right in front of room door. Great price. Seats out front of room and nice field out back. Rainbow and lovely sunset were a bonus. "

"The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning and would be great for little ones too. Also, the hosts were excellent communicators. We would absolutely stay there again!"
