“To be fair, I will acknowledge that the room was exceptionally clean. Otherwise… No crash bar on the door, which is only really a problem because you could pass a cellphone in the gap between the door and frame. In addition to the safety concern, all the light and noise from the hall came straight into our small room. Basic room, absolutely zero frills. You get a bed, bath and TV. Don’t plan to make coffee in your room as there isn’t a coffee pot. No dresser. TP and tissues were awarded to……

“It is an old, charming inn with winding stairs and hallways. The room was very nice sized, the bed comfortable, had good light, and a modernized attached bath. Do not compare it to a modern luxury hotel. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had great food for dinner. Location perfect-right across from the lake and easy walk into town. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Loved it!”

“This is such a cool and unique experience! Lots of history and the grounds are gorgeous! Air conditioning was powerful on those hot summer nights! However, the floor above us is private living quarters and the person was making noise until 2:00am. Bring headphones and a noise machine!”
