“A great hotel restaurant, and pool area with overall creative and sustainable design evident. We felt the rooms were small and while this hotel has good rating for couples and a romantic stay I would say the clientele leans more towards families with large group of children present at all meals commons areas and pool area. Lots of amenities. Lots of potential but if you are looking for a romantic get away I would focus elsewhere.”

“We were blown away by this property on arrival. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous original decoration, very clean and everything you could need. Staff were all friendly and the breakfasts were excellent (we especially appreciated the pack up breakfast in our last day). Our large balcony was very appreciated and the central location was ideal. Some areas need some care especially the rooftop - it would have been lovely to sit up there for the views but it wasn’t very appealing or clean.……

“Special kudos to Talita and Francisco. They are wonderful hosts. Talita specifically came in at the time of check-in, assisted us, answered all questions and showed us around. She and her husband were readily available and attended to power issue (circuit tripped). Most importantly, Talita has lot of integrity- helped one of our friend to locate the passport after we left, packaged it and left at another hotel in Lisbon as we went to visit Porto. Highly recommend staying at this location. Close……
