“The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I set the A/C to 73 degrees which made for a comfortable sleeping environment without setting me up for a heat shock for the hot morning temps.”

“When talking to the check-in staff and later another staff, each of them was very helpful. The hotel room bathroom fan was excessively loud and the switch for it also controlled the light. If you wanted light in the bathroom you had to put up with the fan noise. This bothered both of us using the room. The hotel rooms are rather dark and the bespreads, etc. are pretty worn and dated. The room was quiet. If you just want a place to rest, it is fine, but the place is a little shabby.”

“Zero stars wasn’t an option. Filthy carpet and walls, broken and worn furniture. Staff tried to scam more money out of me, said I had no reservation and my paid receipt from Expedia meant nothing. Terrible place to stay with a terrible staff”

“A great example of an historic motel. Maintenance and facility quality are lacking.”

“It is wonderful to visit a small town and stay in a quality hotel. My favorite aspect of the hotel is its location and setting next to a historic German hausbarn. The only negative I have - our room was near a hallway main door that squeaked when someone entered the hallway.”
