"Our third room was lovely. The new manager Juan was highly accommodating. The first rooms had malfunctioning issues, one being a toilet. To be fair the building is older. But the suite upgrade was appreciated. The bed was firmer and comfortable. They need to upgrade to comforters and not just older blankets. And the towels are stiff and hard. The last room shower and sinks did not drain well either. But the staff were excellent and very kind. Greg from security was fabulous and a good source of knowledge for the city. "

"Wonderful hotel with history in the heart of the French Quarter! The rotating bar is the best! The beds were comfy with excellent pillows- soft and plenty. The bathroom was tight, obviously updated from an older version; the complimentary toiletries a pleasant scent, and the bath robe handy since I forgot mine. I loved the decor and architecture and proximity to fantastic restaurants and musical venues. "
