“Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .Helens' attention to detail is no less than perfect.”

“Lovely log cabin, very clean , excellent central heating with radiators in every room. Good sized fenced in garden for our dog to run around in. Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice.”

“The house is in a great location. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was there that we needed. Great value for money.”

“The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“I stayed here with my brother and dog in September, we was very lucky with the weather and had the most gorgeous views. It was beautiful and relaxing, just what we needed with a little anxious dog. I love being outside and taking pictures and this place did not disappoint, from Sunsets to sunrises, animals and even army helicopters, I found myself very excited to be there and to witness the beauty surrounding the cottage. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you want a quiet get away.”
