Getting Around:
Unless walking in the neighborhood or to Overton Square/Park, then driving and Uber/Lyft are the best options. Public bus system is very poor.
Other Things to Note:
This home is a couple blocks from a train track. This is extremely common in Memphis as we have multiple industrial railroads that run right through town. Luckily, this particular spot is right before an unloading point for the trains so they are always going quite slow. You may hear the horn, but that is literally everywhere in the city limits.
Also, Fedex is headquartered just 5 miles down the road and planes can be heard going over head every few minutes at 20-30 minute periods at specific times during the day or night. It is common almost anywhere in Memphis to hear and see the parade of planes coming through. Please try to enjoy the Memphis Charm :)
