“Our room was only cleaned once (the first day) over the course of our 4 day stay even though we left the room for several hours each day. This was very difficult as there was no carpet in the room (dirty floors/ dirty feet). Trash piled up, and we ran out of clean towels. No parking. ”

“This area is older and not been modernized yet, But.......with the new bridges, and more attractions coming I see it getting better. Therefore the motel was old and run down but not moreso than the surrounding area. Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. ”

“Pool was very nice. Had some hardware issues that prevented a pool food order to be missed. Printer was down and so no tickets were hand written. One employee was very rude… forgot who the customer was and made excuses instead of apologies. She was a black spot on the one night stay. Front desk was awesome. ”

“Crystal Bay Hotel was fantastic! Check-in was fast and easy as was check-out. Staff in every area of the hotel was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent, plentiful, and nicely appointed. The pool was clean and the loungers were plentiful and comfortable; greenery was well taken care of. The hotel was absolutely beautiful with lovely furnishings in the common areas as well as the rooms. We were about 3 miles from the beaches, and area……

“This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.”
