"The cottage is very well laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee grinder, slow cooker, air fryer, mixer, blender. Lots of dishes glassware and silverware. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and listening to the birds. It was a very relaxing week."

"This is the perfect little cottage. We didn't really have any expectations, but my grandson loved playing outdoors in the stream and on the property. It is close to town and the grocery store. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. I loved looking at the lightning bugs at night and the beautiful sky. The inside was very clean and exactly what we were looking for."

"We enjoyed the place -- it is well set up for a mountain stay. Wood is indeed beautiful. Kitchen is great. Appreciated the various apps on the TV. Great location, very quiet except for the nearby construction. We would recommend you not go in cool -- or most definitely cold -- months. The place doesn't have central heat, which is fine, but the heaters it does have are simply not sufficient to keep the house warm. Not pleasant to come home to. My husband is not a cold blooded person, and even he...

"We had a wonderful stay at Sitting Bear Cottage! It was a very comfortable stay and great for our family with small children. The location was great and we even enjoyed a few inches of snow. I would stay at this cottage again!"

"This property was in a great location as we had activities planned in several cities around Ashville. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensil/pans as well as spices. There was soap in the showers, kitchen and even laundry detergent by the washer. "This is a great spot! This property itself is at an awesome location with a beautiful view. Wrap around decks on multiple levels accent that. It was clean upon arrival. The hosts were clear and communicative. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary things needed to prepare the food we brought. The kids really enjoyed themselves and so did we! We came with another family and it was plenty spacious enough for us all. We would highly recommend this property and would book again."
