“Perfect place as base for exploring New Orleans. It is close enough to be convenient yet very economical. It’s in an industrial area so it’s not a place you can explore on foot. It is on the bus line and I had minimal trouble getting an Uber. The property is secure and especially the vehicle lot. I loved the staff who were the same each day. It’s clean although under the bed could have used some attention. The property is old and you can see it must have been almost grand in its glory days. I……

“Our experience with this hotel was wonderful! With all honesty we came in with low expectations because of the bad reviews but we couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff was fantastic! Very kind and understanding. Latrice (I may have spelled that wrong, sorry girl) at the front desk deserves a raise! She was so courteous and understanding, just all around amazing! My family adored her. So to address some of the bad comments that scared us-> no the pool isn’t disgusting and impossible to swim……

“The room smell was ridiculous as soon as we walked in it smelled like pee and old water. The tv did not work. The toilet shot out water from the side every flush. The tub was dirty and stained. The sink had build up within the faucet handles. It looks like they barely cared to touch it. I spent $20 on cleaning products at dollar general to try and make the smell ok to sleep but even so it smelled like fabulous piss. They have not swept outside at all. The pool was green and dirty and the pool……
