“We went here on a family vacation and it was amazing. The beach is great! Smaller waves and excellent sand, with warm water! The pool was also great with warm water and the hot tubs actually worked! Not something you always see in tropical climates. Super close to the airport with a free shuttle, and no airplane noise at all. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!”

“Super warm and cozy lodging. Feels like a home away from home. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. My cottage was very clean but it is an older building in general so not spotless. Saw a couple little insects throughout my stay (like centipedes) but with the building being older and made of wood, I expected this. No amenities but they are up front about that when booking and it’s reflected in the very affordable pricing. Cottage had everything I could need; hot plate, rice cooker, dishes and……

“Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The……

“All good, good service. I would love another restaurant option inside the resort, since this area of the island doesn’t offer too much options. They only have one restaurant by the pool, would be very nice to have another option and maybe the closing time be a little bit more late. Everything in the island closes at 9pm, I would love that the resort your staying offer you the option to have food available until 10pm for example. Other than that the resort is beautiful!”

“Great location n excellent food”

“We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here……

“This is the place to stay. It’s a hidden gem. Close to everything. No need to stay at a “mega” resort on Poipu. These rooms are perfect. Older yes but absolutely beautiful and peaceful in the middle of it all.”

“Room is clean, location is good, near many food options, easy access to many places. However, charged for the resort fee that covers breakfast, morning yoga, and parking, their breakfast is a joke, package pastries and cereal, all the unhealthy premade package food. But that is the only complaint, everything else is good.”

“虽然酒店设施比较老了，但还是很干净的。房间都很大，花1000多RMB住2室2厅的房子，信价比还是很不错的。适合家庭度假。就是等到下午4点才在我们的强烈要求下拿到了房间的钥匙，这一点比较郁闷。”
