"The windows in the bathroom and the bedroom did not lock which was a safety concern. Even bigger of a concern when the employee would stare into the window. We did not feel comfortable here as 2 unarmed women traveling alone and ended up leaving early. Front desk didnt care why we were leaving early only cared to mention she could not give a refund "because we booked online". Entire experience was bizarre. I would not recommend."

"The room was dirty & unkept . The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival. When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ? My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! We left around 3:00 am on 04/10/26 . Tried to get a refund but they declined . Chaffee Lodge is a JOKE & so is the long bearded fast talking lobby attendant ( "manager" LoL ) Also when my wife & I returned at 9:45 pm on 04/09/26 after visiting some friends the entire lobby & hallway reeked with the smell of weed .
