It was 200 miles from my stay in Cornwall, so I stayed after visiting two tourist spots, on my way home. Negatives Woken up in night by a talking sensor outside (4am to 5.30am) Walls……

“Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Superb views across to the hills behind the village. Very nice toiletries provided and excellent tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room facilities with biscuits! I really enjoyed the comfortable residents lounge which was unexpected but a nice place to relax and read a book (motor racing or vehicle enthusiasts will enjoy the book selection). The breakfast was very high quality with local Ingredients and beautifully presented. Gluten……

“Had a lovely stay at the Ammonite guest house. The hosts were very attentive. The parking was either just outside or a space for a car around the back. Warning, it's a very small lane, wing mirrors in! 😂. The breakfast was very filling. Lots to choose from. Would definitely book again. ”

“I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise.”
