“Convenient location, cute home, had everything we needed. Very spacious house and the backyard was very nice. But while the kitchen appliances were retro looking and cute, they weren’t functional for my family’s needs. I couldn’t get the oven to work, my pizza from the market didn’t fit in the compact fridge, and the microwave had Roman numerals on the dials for settings but I didn’t know that the settings meant. “I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city.
