The omlete station was amazing. The staff at the restaurant was super nice. The manager does a supurb job. The evening reception has several mixed drinks you could chose from, beers, wine, and light snacks. The hot tub was nice and hot. The pool was warm. The front staff and house cleaning were accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and large enough to spread out our bags. The location is right above a metro which made travel to the national mall easy. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Trader joes is in the same building so you can grab snacks for the room. Overall, one of the best hotels Ive stayed in. I would definitely recommend for families. Outlets were a bit finnicky: only 1 of 2 on the nightstand worked but they didn't fit most of our plugs anyway, the ones on the far wall were loose and didn't hold most of our plugs, only half of the ones on the desk worked even with the switch turned on. We made due with what we could. The staff was super sweet about it though. If y'all give them feedback during your stay, they're more than happy to accommodate so be vocal! I ended up speaking up too late and didn't really want to move rooms on our last night. I do wish they had a little downstairs market to spend my food and beverage credit. I could only use it during the restaurant hours which wasn't always the most convenient. At one point, I also asked for where the lobby bathroom was and was steered right into a private event (downstairs) so that was super awkward. We ended up using the one in the restaurant. My husband tried exploring the lobby to see if there was a downstairs market to spend our credit and staff seemed to stop him to ask if they could help so he didn't feel comfortable exploring much further because it made him feel like he wasn't allowed to go that direction. Maybe they were being overly helpful 😅 Love the convenience of the water dispensers though! This feature is so much more important than hotels realize. And the location is top notch. Super easy access to National Mall, Chinatown, etc. Overall, I would 100% be back." Our room was above expectations with the extra sitting/kitchenette area. We had friends stay with us that had the same room set up. However, their fridge was not stocked and they didn't get daily room service (they paid the same price). For a price...we had all kinds of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages in our fridge which was greatly appreciated. There were snacks available as well...with a price list. The lounge was amazing. The place is very clean and the staff was great. Within walking distance of any needs."
