“Main thing: it was very clean which is my highest priority. But, it is a 1902 house which lacks amenities. It is not a good choice if ambulatory access is necessary. The breakfast was well prepared and was delivered to your door at the exact time I requested, but there was no choice in the breakfast. I felt fortunate that the food was well done - but maybe a problem if choice was expected. There was no easy chair for lounging or reading as the room was small. The blazing room air conditioner……

“This was an amazing stay. We went up to Eureka as a last minute getaway. The staff were super helpful and accommodating with our late checkout. Our space was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Will stay here again.”

“The property is wonderfully designed and maintained. The zero contact check-in went smoothly. The property is a nice walk to downtown and in the great historic residential neighborhood. They provided a lot of free healthy food for snacks and water. The property has a lot of parking.”

“It was very close to the road so we hear traffic, had trouble with keyless entry. Poor internet at that area of town, we will just be closer to town next time”

“Wonderful stay. Mark was fantastic. Treated us like a member of the family. Even though it’s on the main road it was very quiet. Extremely clean. It’s only an $9 Uber to the Basin Hotel downtown. We stayed in the Renaissance Room. Very spacious. Our only regret was the whole reason I booked was the winery on site, and it was closed, but they do have another one not far away. We will definitely stay here again.”

“The new owners were friendly and very helpful. They are making several upgrades like changing to a saltwater pool, adding a water softener, and curved shower curtains. They also had nice touches like a bonfire and roasting marshmallows each weekend night in the treed area next to the motel. The community room with a pool table, couches, tables, and board games was a nice place to relax.”

“The TV didn't work so I called. They said they would come out but never showed up. The room was on the first floor. I could hear walking upstairs the whole time. The smoking outside drifted through the doors and windows. I brought my dog and they gave me a room that was far from a green space. Old bath area. The only thing good about the experience was the bed and pillows were comfortable. Can't recommend this place.”
