"What a wonderful spot to get away from it all. This cottage is in a very private location. It has a good bit of land for outdoor activities. A new set of stairs leads down to the waterfront. The cottage itself is rustic with modern amenities. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with cookware. There are also ample supplies for cleaning and personal hygiene. Host Kris was easily reached by phone for any questions. Shopping is available in Whycocomagh which is 15 minute drive. Inverness beach is also close by and well worth a visit. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a private getaway with lots of space and a great view."

"Unbelievable setting on coast. Small cabin looks out over a small lake and Gulf of St. Lawrence beyond. The cabin is brand new and well equipped. There is a short path to private beach! Just amazing peace and quiet."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property.The cottages are clean and cozy, and contain everything one would need for cooking. The beds are comfortable, the view is lovely, and, the beach is easily accessed from the cottages. What made our stay *extra* special, however, was the warmth, wit, and, hospitality of our lovely host. First, he gave us a courtesy call to provide specific directions to the property, then, called us again to let us know about an event happening nearby at the time of our stay, in case we wanted to attend. He is a lovely human being, who seems to genuinely enjoy people. We were very proud to share the beauty of Nova Scotia with our California friends, especially the beauty of the human landscape (-thank you, Colin!). During our stay, the weather was chilly, overcast, rainy, and foggy, but, the warmth of this property’s owner, and the simple, yet, charming accommodations he offers, will bring us back again.- next time, for a longer, sunnier, summer stay."

"Everything about our stay was incredible. The home worked perfect for our family and inlaws. No one wanted to leave after our 5 night stay. The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time.
