“My family and I loved our stay at this cottage. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, with tonnes of wildlife to enjoy, and great for stand up paddle boarding (my favourite activity was looking for turtles in the shallows while riding one of the paddleboards).  The cottage has comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. There are great views of the lake from the dining room, deck and yard. Val des Bois has lots of amenities, including two great ice cream……

“Happy with our stay. The cottage is spacious, clean, and welcoming. We enjoyed playing ping pong and going to the private beach which is three minutes from the cottage if you are not afraid of taking a steep stairwell down the mountain. Otherwise, you can also make a little detour by walking on the road. A beautiful view on the lake from a large balcony overlooking the lake. We also liked the fact that the cottage is very close to Gatineau, 30 minutes drive for us. We might go back next year if……

“Nous avons passé une semaine de relâche exceptionnelle à la Maison Blanche. La maison est belle, fraîchement rénovée, propre, et très bien équipée. Nous avons pu cuisiner à tous les jours sans manquer de rien. Chaque petit détail est bien pensé pour le confort des invités. Il y a des lampes d’appoint dans presque toutes les pièces, des câbles pour recharger les composants électroniques, des petites lampes de poche, des boîtes de mouchoirs dans toutes les pièces, amplement de serviettes et même……

“What a lovely, peaceful get-away! The cottage was clean, so comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed. The spa was a wonderful bonus on a cold day... with a lovely view. This wonderful cottage was a great place for our 4-legged kids, and is perfectly situated close to hiking trails that are dog-friendly.
