“This hotel is brand new and beautiful. The color scheme is soothing and tasteful. Our room was so comfortable. The fitness room had everything I needed for a great workout and cardio. It was near lots of restaurants.”

“room lacked things like ice bucket, note pads, Bible, also in the bath the shower handle was broke so my tall spouse had to depend on the handheld on low end. we understand the property was recently name changed and modifications are being done. We plan on staying there again.”

“The hotel is a well equipped and maintained facility in a small town. Staff members are friendly and efficient. I don't like the Marriott set up with only part of the bath area being private ( doesn't allow for one to arise and not disturb traveling partner).”

“Staff were amazing, stay was good at first until the next couple of nights when more people with kids checked in. Walking, running, stomping above our room was horrible. Front desk was notified and the group was asked by staff to be more respectful, unfortunately it didn’t work it just made it worse. Front desk offered to move us but it would be to a smaller room. We ended up declining the offer as we’ve already settled and hubby refused to move all of our stuff again. Location was okay,……

“Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, good complimentary breakfast. Breakfast lady was very nice, kept the buffet well stocked and found me a banana-thank you! We usually stop in Gardendale but after our last visit there ( a disappointment) decided to drive into Athens. So glad we did. The Hampton Inn did not disappoint. Right off the interstate and close to the infamous Buc-ees. ”

“Evidently the rooms had recently been renovated, so they are in good shape. The shower was strong and invigorating. The breakfast was good (biscuits were hard, though). The major knock on the place is that the layout is old-school, that is, the rooms all open to the outside - no interior hallway. We’ve had bad experiences with motels configured like this, so we were a little tentative in staying here. However, no issues occurred during our stay!”

“Room appeared clean, but found a large cockroach in my bathroom...eeewww. Staff was friendly. Fridge and microwave are small, probably not the best accommodations for longer stays. Overall, not bad, staff were really friendly.”
