“The unit was not clean smelled of pet urine. The lights didn’t work in three of the rooms. Plywood stuck under matts where the floor was rotten. Bedroom door wouldn’t close. Photos used in vrbo booking do not show the ladder that you need to access top two bedrooms. Photos also don’t show the washed out driveway to get to unit and the log stairs used for access to the beautiful beach. Broken fluorescent tube from kitchen light beside fridge. Dishwasher doesn’t work and I don’t think it has……

“Our stay at Creekside Hideaway could not have been better. Wonderful communication with our host and the property was even better than described. The house was spotless with ample towels in the updated bathroom. The sheets on the beds were high quality cotton with a cozy duvet and 4 pillows. The kitchen was modern with great touches like bottles of water in the fridge and coffee for the coffee machine. We were also appreciated that Nora ( the dog) was welcome. I would HIGHLY recommend this……

“The hotel is a wonderful throw back and if that is the vibe you are looking for then it will not disappoint. The room was large and comfortable and the amenities generally were excellent. It was very busy and perhaps as a result the service at times was less than optimal. Our general,impression was that it is a little over priced for what it is”

“My hubby and I wanted an evening away and we decided on The Kennedy Inn. Always great staying as it’s right downtown. They have the cutest rooms with antique furniture, a restaurant and bar. Staff are always great”

“This was my first time here and it was great. Very clean and quiet and the hot tub was very enjoyable. Staff was very helpful. The room we were in was a joined cabin and we never heard our neighbours at all! It is a bit out of the way but it is very reasonably priced for everything you have access to! Make sure to bring a cooler to keep things cold as there is no room fridge.”

“Historic and eclectic buildings with amazing staff! A quiet area with discount to The Kingsbrae Gardens and a quick walk to downtown St. Andrew's. The only negatives were the price and the shower was tiny with very limited hot water.”

“Stayed 2 nights, chosen for its location and reviews. Check-in was rough: I waited 15-20 minutes at the desk with luggage. Eventually a waitress standing there told me that it was a self check in and there should be a card on the second floor. She said in such of way that made me feel like it was obvious and I should have known this already. Found my Room #2 card, but the door code didn't work — I just turned the handle and it opened. The room itself was lovely: Victorian furniture, unique art.……
