“Was a great weekend, had all we needed and the fire pit and back porch were awesome! ”

“I reserved this for my daughter who needed a quiet break for a week. She was very happy with everything and enjoyed her stay. She walked around the area and the water and was quite comfortable. Great! Easy check in, no problems at all.”

“Wonderful property with incredible access to both the river and Greene’s town center. We didn’t need to drive anywhere once we arrived except to the wedding we were in Gruene to attend.”

“We went to the river for my daughters 20th birthday. She has never been to the river before and that is what she wanted to do. My husband and I love this area. The location is awesome and close to all of the things you may want to do. The house was just as described. We had such a fun time!”

“This was a great property. It does come with an extra pull out bed for an extra guest although no linens/blankets for the extra bed. My daughter slept on it with no sheets and I gave her our blanket off the bed. Other than that it was perfect. Also it does come with a washer/dryer off the patio which was super cool but I didn't find the laundry soap until we were leaving (it was under the kitchen sink). I think if extra linens are added and laundry soap is stored near the washing machine then……

“Everything was excellent at the Clutter falls guest house. The only thing that was not great was the shower valve was extremely tough to move and clearly needs to be replaced or at minimum needs to have a new cartridge installed.”

“This place was the perfect spot for relaxation and a great place to get away for the weekend. We stayed here for a wedding and this place met our needs. It had everything we needed and shopping, groceries, and restaurants were all near by. I would stay here again. ”

“This was a perfect getaway location. Great location, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen to make breakfast and lunch. Nice owners who always responded promptly to any of our questions. We really appreciated the 1 hour early check-in so we could watch the football game starting at 2:30!”

“It is being renovated so the outside is a little rough still but the inside and rooms are gorgeous. It’s going to be perfect when it’s all said snd done. Location is great snd walkable to Gruene Hall. ”

“The room was great, especially for the price. No issues or noisy neighbors. Definitely would go back if we found ourselves in this area again.”

“It is pretty far out and the cabin we got was right across from an old travel trailer. Not great surroundings like I thought and had quite an odor. All in all though it was a good deal for the price and a safe place to stay. You just have to drive a bit to get to anything. ”

“Staff excellent/helpful. Room spotless, well appointed. Very quiet. Breakfasts provided a nice variety. ”

“The staff was friendly and helpful! Next to the freeway with construction made some rooms noisy. Some of the pots and pans were worn and could use replacements. The shower curtains could be longer to keep the shower water in the tub. The pullout bed was slightly better than sleeping on the floor. Overall, good. Would stay there again.”

“When we arrived in the area we drove right passed the entrance for a few miles. Putting the street address in gmaps didnt quite work, probably operater error. Ended up using the spud ranch close by to get closer to the property and it was easier using that as a reference point any other time. Traffic in area gets super heavy kinda early in the day so walking to nearby places is definitely recommended.”

“Not sure how they had a 10 rating from expedia. Expedia needs to check ratings. Maybe a 3 1/2 at most. ”
