“Great area on the gulf”

“It was a clean environment, just as its losted. A beautiful place to stay. It was clean, organized, and the communication with the host was awesome! She answered us as soon as she could and gave us clear answers to any questions we had! We definitely recomend and will stay here again if we're back in Surfside!”

“We had an amazingly chill and peaceful weekend. It was a nice short getaway for my family. We played the games provided as well as others that we brought. The fireplace brought us all together and we enjoyed the time with each other at night. Beds were comfortable, clean and inviting. The game room downstairs was a hit with the kids.”

“This house is BEAUTIFUL and HUGE!!! In total we had 10 adults, and 7 kids ranging from 1-16.(total of 5 families) We had more than enough space and never felt over crowded, but always felt close enough to be able to be together! My only complaint is it was not the cleanest. My one year old would crawl around and his knees and feet would be black, in the couch had old chips and the light in the kitchen had someone else’s name written in the dust😅 but other than that we absolutely loved it! “We have no complaints, it was a beautiful, new, very clean, comfortable home. Room for my family of 8 including grown children and grandkids. Plenty of room for us all. Nice deck and downstairs to relax and spend family time. The house is not on the beach side of the highway so we had to walk quite a distance across the highway with our grankids to the beach access. Though it sits center in a neighborhood, we felt that privacy was adequate and enjoyed the fenced in yard and privacy gate……

“This beach house was far and away better than the one we stayed at last year. It was very clean, nicely decorated with the beach a minute walk down the street. We'll be repeating at this place if it's available for rental the next time we come down.”

“We took our daughter and her friends to the beach for the weekend. House was more than adequate and well stocked. Great balconies to enjoy the beach front location. Only thing we were not keen on was the water smelled quite badly of sulphur. I believe this is a known problem in Surfside. Would definitely stay again!”

“The property was a tad outdated. We arrived after 9 p.m. The email with the code for entry was never received and we had to wait a bit for the owner to reply due to the late arrival time. Only 1 bathroom and it is very small which was fine for us but could pose an issue for larger groups. Our sheets and pillow cases smelled like mildew, like the cleaning people left them in the washer for a day before drying. I checked the laundry on the porch and those sheets smelled bad too. “Well, the property was good, although there are a number of maintenance items that should be addressed. The destination is one we will not likely repeat (not at all a problem with the owner of the property), but the lack of drinkable water and the odor of the water from faucets made a big difference to us. The home itself is pretty well maintained....but I would recommend and update of the outdoor cushions (there's no real cushion in the cushions), replacement of a couple pots and pans would……

“the room/suite was perfect and very clean...my only concern was that the front desk clerk had not properly receipted my cash payment and was overlooked and drafted from my card....she did not give me a receipt so i had no proof....however, the front desk clerk the next day immediately tended to the issue and it was resolved...”
