"Hands down the best spot along with Michigan coast for a celebration! The perfect location and accommodations for my wife's 50th bday party. To have a main and guest house works great for larger parties. Access to a chef was a treat you don't get at most properties and the beach at sunset was spectacular! Everything was easy and first class!! Thank you Andrea and Carmen!!"

"The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful with lots of areas to sit and relax. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to both Saugatuck and Douglas."

"Six of us from the WMU class of ‘76 wanted to get together this year, as we all hit the milestone 70th birthday. Luckily we all still live in MI, so we wanted a big house in a quaint little town where we could all gather and catch up on life and remember our bronco days and celebrate our friendships! This house fit the bill! We loved the screened in porch and large dining table where we could all gather. Some took a walk; some shopped. We picked up pizza for the first night and dined out the second night. Cooking brunch was a breeze in the well appointed large kitchen. Communication with Alex, the owner, re: check in, check out and even a “how is everything going” was easy. The write up and instructions were accurate; bring your own body wash/shower soap and shampoo. There are no bedrooms on the main level. Just be aware if anyone in your group has mobility issues. But a great time was had by all."

"David was a congenial host. His freshly made breakfasts were wonderful. The room (Lily) was small, which is typical of an historic, older home, but had a bathroom in the room. The location was perfect, near the social/shopping area of Saugatuck. "

"The house was perfect for a short stay in Saugatuck. We were able to walk to downtown where our dog Chara loved the walks along the dock of the Kalamazoo river. We also enjoyed ice cream at Kilwins and coffee at Uncommon Grounds. Also, we loved the hiking trails at Saugatuck Dunes State Park which is just a short drive away. This place is perfect for a couple with a dog. Thanks for such a nice dog friendly space."

"Great spot for a group"

"My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary on April 2024. The place is beautiful, as is the area. We enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan, Kalamazoo Lake, and right across the street from the Kalamzoo River. The place is well set up with a full kitchen including stainless steel appliances, and dishwasher + a magic bullet blender and wine and bottle openers, as well as toaster and coffee maker. Nice gas fire place stove easy to use too. Enjoyed how close it was to a handful of nice towns and right across the river from downtown Saugatuck. The place even has a shared laundry room access between the units, you can lock the door to the laundry from inside your unit. We loved walking to Mount Bald Head and Lake Michigan. It was also nice to sit on the front deck and enjoy the view of the Kalamazoo River."
